Heart Bug and Halter Monitor

HeartBug is Australia’s newest and most convenient ECG monitoring service which autorecords to catch non-symptomatic arrhythmias.

It uses the worlds smallest external event monitors to provide ECG monitoring from 1 to 4 weeks.

The service is available to patients with a GPs referral.

Upon referral, we will provide you with a HeartBug monitor (including all supplies) and a web login.

The ECG recordings are interpreted by the HeartBug staff cardiologist, which are then provided to your GP.

Make an appointment with your GP to discuss your heart health or any concerns you may have.

Valuable information is obtained from this equipment for people who suffer from cardiac symptoms such as palpitation, missing heartbeats, dizziness and etc.

The service is bulk-billed as Bridge Medical Centre has arranged with Douglas Hanley Moir pathology service to act as a host, to provide such an opportunity to patients living in a rural area.
